OAC uses session cookies to enable the Website to identify registered users once they have registered and logged in. This type of cookie only operates when the user is logged in and is deleted automatically after a specific period of time when there has been no activity, or when the user logs off.
The Website does offer a persistent cookie as part of the login, in order to remember login details for future use.
